I have been working with a collaborative and Integrative Health Care approach for over 30 years. My work is a blend of energy- based medicine with Conventional Physical Therapy. It is intuitive and client-centered. I am Certified as a Holistic Stress Management educator and certified in Heartmath, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy and many more Body-Mind Services that will help you learn how to understand and to tap into your body’s natural inclination to heal. We are born with this amazing ability to default towards wellness. It’s wired into our survival mechanism. You can learn the unique and personal language of your body. It is empowering and life changing.
I am passionate about helping people to live with and come into balance with Chronic pain, Lyme disease, Sleep Disorders, FM and CFIDS and stress-related illness. I have hEDS and through trial and error- lots!- I’ve learned some great tools that allow me to thrive. Its been the driving passion for knowledge that helps me and then in turn, helps those that I serve.
Many people think that they must just live with pain and fatigue. This is not true. Pain Neuro Science has shown that the more we know about pain, the less pain we have. Our brain can change how we perceive pain and the good news is that that our brain continues to rewire and create new neural pathways to health and wellness! ANNA McCONVILLE, DPT, CST is a respected expert in the field of Holistic Physical Therapy and Chronic Pain. She began her career as a professional Mime and Physical Performer, which brings a unique perspective to how she practices as a Physical Therapist, Intuitive Energy Worker, and Health Coach.
For over 35 years, she has blended mindfulness, humor and laughter as a key component in guiding her clients in their journey of healing and self-care. She began practicing Mindfulness Meditation 40 years ago to heal from a chronic condition and has devoted more than 2600 hours of continuing education to learning skills that integrate Eastern and Western Medicine to help her clients find creative solutions to live with less pain and greater ease. She is a student of Quantum Physics and Energy Medicine and is excited about the research that supports the premise that we can change our health by changing our neural pathways.
She loves creating self-care classes and working with clients to understand the unique language of healing and how to access tools to live with less pain, greater resilience, and more joy. She integrates CranioSacral and Visceral Therapy, Pilates Biofeedback, and other Energy medicine techniques as part of her mind-body approach to healing.
Anna loves to bike and hike and fuels her creativity with fiber art and writing.
